Episode 13:
Thursday, January 24th, 2008Sorry I suck so bad.
I love you guys.
Sorry I suck so bad.
I love you guys.
Between the “release” of Episode 11 & now, I have been working on the myspace account of this silly little show. It’s not a very fascinating profile, really. I have no idea what I’m supposed to say, really… So that’s all a bit woo (in the bad way).
Despite the horribly bland profile that I have (http://myspace.com/mamzandnips), I have made friends on myspace with a large array of different people/bands/randoms. For the most part, I sort of hunted down the people I already loved from http://music.podshow.com, but there are a few bands that found me. & I am very glad they did.
On with the show?
9 of the 10 artists you will hear can be found in my top friends on the silly little myspace page. It was really super ridiculous hard to pick ONLY 10 artists/songs for tonight. I mean, honestly… we have nearly 60 friends on myspace… all but, I think, 4 are bands? So.. it was tricky. Have no fear… I’m just saving some songs for new weirder (by far) themes.
Anyways…. lots of introductions to my new friends, a couple shout-outs. & to balance the highly sexual implications of the last novel I read an exerpt of, I read you a kiddie one. “No More Moas” by Duncan Scott.
Knowing people who .. I actually want to impress… are going to be listening, this write-up is even ridiculously hard. I think I need some tomato soup. Crap! We’re still out of milk….
Enjoy. Leave comments. Be my friend (you can never have too many). Love things a little.
♥ The Mighty Nips … forever Mamz-less, it would seem.

I feel bad for sort of taking over Mamzilla & The Mighty Nips, but if I don’t do it, it won’t get done. You’ll just have to talk Mamz into coming back to podcast with me. Okay?
On with the show? Episode 11 hasn’t got a musical theme. I just didn’t want to put facts in there & really like the idea of podcasts that have “We __________” names. So, that’s how that works.
On here, you get a little more of Little Thom (swoon, I know) & I get to introduce you to (De La Vega) Ivy League, Justin Gordon, Raymond & Scum, & Jane Vain & The Dark Matter (which for some reason, I keep calling “Material” huge, huge apologies!!).
I also had a change of heart & plan .. so you get to sample a delightful novel; “Eleven Minutes” by Paulo Coelho.
Intrigued? Probably not. Still, if you’ve got the time… take a listen.
Happy New Year, all!
Love, as usual, The Mighty Nips
Standard Podcasts [55:52m]: Play Now | Play in Popup | Download | Embeddable Player | Hits (100)If the title hasn’t given it away, this episode is chock-a-block full of darling little songs from artists that are a new discovery to The Mighty Nips, & hopefully to you too.
Genuinely, I am pleased to introduce these songs, as I am not one to play songs that I am not absolutely in love with.
Also tucked away in this episode, are the introductions to two new segments…. the highly anticipated “The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove” by Christopher Moore & “Knocked Out By My Nunga-Nungas,” part of the”Confessions of Georgia Nicholson” series by Louise Rennison.
Introducing:
The Aba Khibesizwe Choir; Krista Baroni; Marjorie Whitley; Little Thom & a few others.
♥ The Mighty Nips.
ps. this is one of my personal favourite episodes, thus far. I hope it’s one of yours too… Though it’s extra long, I’m really proud of it. Enjoy!!

So, I, The Mighty Nips, have been reaching out to the world at large, to show the world what me & Mamz are capable of.
Any help you guys can offer (ie. tellin’ your friends, inviting your friends to our facebook group…) would be much appreciated.
♥ The Mighty Nips.
With Mamzilla still unable to collaborate with The Mighty Nips, this podcast is just The Mighty Nips, again.
This podcast has fewer technical difficulties, Thank Goodness. It is pretty self explanitory; Episode 9 is composed of songs from some of our favourite movies (Mamzilla helped with the prep for this podcast, before she moved.)
Features songs from: Snakes on a Plane, Mozart & The Whale, Donny Darko & more.
Suggestions for Episode 10 are encouraged. Email me at mamzillaandthemightynips@hotmail.com or comment here or on our facebook group “Adventures of Mamzilla & The Mighty Nips.”

:(
That’s what I thought! You’re real torn up about it.
Due to a series of unfortunate events, Mamzilla & The Mighty Nips are no longer sharing a roof. This has provided a few … obstacles.. in the way of podcasting. So, The Mighty Nips has decided to brave it alone, for this podcast at least.
There were a few technical glitches (Mamzilla usually catches those. We need her back), but it’s the thought that counts. We miss Mamzilla dearly here at the HQ of Mamz & Nips Adventures.
This podcast goes out to Mamzilla with more love than you could ever imagine!! & The Mighty Nips would like to make a special shoutout to a Mr. Philip who was the emotional support behind the episode…. (He was forced to listen & approve before it was uploaded… so, if it sucks.. it’s his fault. He said it was okay.)
♥ The Mighty Nips, on behalf of her & Mamzilla.
Standard Podcasts [46:40m]: Play Now | Play in Popup | Download | Embeddable Player | Hits (107)That’s right, folks. The Mighty Nips has a car.
She is a light blue 1990 Honda Civic Hatchback.
We like to ride in cars with boys. Boys optional. We enjoy sleeping, singing, smoking, dancing and driving in M’Car. You will hear all about that.
This episode is meant to be listened to in the car, but unless you download it and listen to it on your ipod, or with a disc or something… you’ll have to just pretend. That’s what we did.
*jingle jingle* I gots my keys. We’re going for a ride.
Enjoy the show!

Standard Podcasts [41:52m]: Play Now | Play in Popup | Download | Embeddable Player | Hits (96)Finally, I have managed to get together a system in which we can post our podcasts. For a while there, all was grim and I was sure that the whole podcasting thing was a no-go. It’s a long and complicated process that we must now adhere to in order to fullfill the needs of you, the listener. However, we are more than willing to do it, as long as you guys send us comments and feedback. Ya dig?
Mamzilla and I have been having the times of our lives, lately, and we have many stories to share, in podcasts to come. Be ready for them, hey?
On with the show….
This podcast is rather self-explanatory. We Like, We Like to Party. There are party songs, party stories… party.. parties. Lots of good things!
As promised, the sing-along is not as bad as it was in Episode 4.. but it is still pretty darn bad. That’s why you listen though right.
Send us your best party stories and songs and I’m sure we’ll have a sequel. But first…
Episode 6: We Like, We Like to Party.
Enjoy the show.
